BlueScore (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use BlueScore (“the App”).

1. Overview

BlueScore is developed with respect for your privacy. We only process the data needed for the app’s functionality and store all information locally on your device.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

• Searches you make
• Weather data fetched for the destinations you look at
• App settings and preferences
• Technical log data for troubleshooting and support

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• Personally identifiable information
• Account information — BlueScore has no accounts
• Photos, media files or other personal content
• Continuous background location tracking
• Personal messages or communications

4. Log Files and Troubleshooting

The App automatically writes log files on your device to help with troubleshooting and support. These log files contain:

• Technical information about the app’s functions
• Error messages and performance data
• Timestamps of activities
• Device information (iOS version, app version)

A new log file is created every time the app starts, and a maximum of five previous log files are kept automatically. The log files contain no personal information such as names, places visited or personal settings. Sensitive information such as API keys is filtered out automatically.

5. Sharing Log Files

You can voluntarily choose to share log files with our support team via the App’s settings. This only happens when you actively choose to send an email with the log files attached. No log files are sent automatically or without your consent.

6. Data Management

All information is stored locally on your device. No data is sent to our servers or shared with third parties, except when you voluntarily choose to share log files for support.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following external services to fetch weather and location information:

• MET Norway API (weather data)
• GeoNames API (location information)
• OpenStreetMap / Overpass API (geographic data)
• WeatherAPI.com (additional weather data)
• Apple Maps & CoreLocation (location and map data)
• Other public data services

These requests are made without sharing your personal information. Only place names and coordinates are sent in order to retrieve public weather and geographic information.

8. Analytics and Statistics

The App does not collect usage statistics, analytics or telemetry. Everything stays on your device.

9. Cache and Temporary Data

To improve performance the App temporarily caches weather and location data locally. This cache:

• Is stored only on your device
• Is automatically cleared after a set time
• Can be manually cleared via the App’s settings
• Contains no personal information

10. Your Rights

• You can delete all stored information by uninstalling the App
• You can clear the cache and log files via the App’s settings
• You can choose not to share log files for support
• You control what information is stored locally

11. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
